Camping Information

We are excited to offer limited camping for the weekend. There will be three areas available for anyone looking to stay at Six Sigma on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday night. Please note: Attendance is limited to racers and immediate family members that are present for racer support.

  • Tents / Vans with no generators (120 spots)
  • Small RVs / Trailers – Less than 25 feet in length (25 spots)
  • Large RVs Trailers – More than 25 feet in length (60 spots)

Camping is $40 per spot, regardless of the number nights you stay. Spaces will be marked off and they are first-come, first-serve. Your camping pass includes parking for one vehicle, RV or one vehicle-towing-a-trailer; extra vehicles can be parked in the Day Parking area. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are not offering reservations for large group camping areas.

When you arrive, please park in the appropriate camping area (scroll down for a map). Your camping pass can be picked up at the Start/Finish during the following times:

  • Friday, April 9th from 5pm-7 pm
  • Saturday, April 10th from 12pm-6pm
  • Sunday, April 11th from 7:30am-8:30am

If you arrive for camping outside of check-in time, please find your camping spot in the appropriate area (see map below) and come see us during the next available check-in window.

Here’s some more key info for the weekend:

  • Dry camping: There’s no running water access or hookups for cooking or showers. Think of it this way, if anyone can smell you, they’re too close! Unless they’re family – they have to love you anyways.
  • “Primitive” camping areas: There is no camping infrastructure in Six Sigma’s valley. Please plan to be self-sufficient with things like chairs, tables, lights, water and food.
  • Bathrooms: Portable restrooms will be placed throughout the campgrounds.
  • Cooking: Camp stoves are allowed on stable surfaces at your campsite.
  • Pack it in, pack it out: Please carry out all garbage and food waste.
  • RV Dump Station: For our friends camping with RVs, click here for a list with the nearest RV Dump Station and service centers.

No campfires allowed.

Masks are not required in the camping area, but we ask that you use caution and maintain social distancing. All guidelines from the California Department of Public Health with regards to Campgrounds apply.

Camping not your jam, but still want to race? Stay at a nearby AirbnbVrbo or hotel!
