Daily schedule for 6th-8th Grade Advanced Summer Ride Camp during the week of July 27-31, 2026 (TENTATIVE).
6th-8th graders need to have a well-fitting mountain bike, and a modern bike with front or full suspension, dropper post and tubeless tires is highly recommended. Some of their rides will be on technical mountain bike trails with rocks, roots and exposure so a well equipped bike is essential.
Advanced riders should consider themselves mountain bikers, with multiple seasons of experience at the Folsom Grom Series and/or 678 Ride Club in group yellow, orange, red, or white. Experience riding technical cross country mountain bike trails is recommended and riders should be capable of a 20 mile ride at a casual pace, with multiple stops and breaks to refuel and enjoy surroundings. These riders should be able to carry their own tube, pump and basic repair tools similar to what’s expected in the 678 Ride Club.
Subject to change based on activity availability and weather.
