Clipped In for Life is excited to introduce Grip Academy: an after school youth cycling program for kids in 8th grade and under to learn to ride and progress their bike skills.
Currently, there are few pathways for kids to be regularly involved in cycling and progress their skills in a community-building setting. Clipped In for Life is redefining the learn-to-ride process with Grip Academy, rewarding deliberate skill progression with colored grips inspired by the martial arts belt system. Grip Academy pushes beyond basic bike handling skills to engage kids in a lifelong activity that boosts physical and mental health, reinforces valuable life skills, and builds community.
