Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025 for the Balance Bike Bash in Historic Folsom! Our Mother Lode Epic mountain bike race finishes in Historic Folsom on Sutter Street on June 7th, so we’re bringing some extra excitement to town with free balance bike races for ages 3-6.

Races will be held on the 700 Block of Sutter Street between Riley and Wool Streets (closed to traffic) and run every 30 minutes from 9-11:30am. Our specially designed course will have fun features including a bubble wrap “rock garden,” mini rumble strips, and a pool noodle wall for kids to ride through. Every racer gets a race plate and a lollipop at the finish.

Registration

Registration for the balance bike races is FREE! Racers must be age 3-6 on a balance bike only (no pedals). Registration is on-site only and parents will need to sign a waiver at the Clipped In Races tent.

Helmets are required. We will have a small fleet of demo Strider bikes and helmets available to borrow!

Each race start (9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM, & 11:30 AM) is limited to 25 kids. In between races, kids can ride the course as much as they want!
