FAQs

Below are answers to frequently asked questions about our race venue. For series-related FAQs (registration, race credits, categories, rules, etc.), please visit our main Sacramento Cyclocross FAQs page.

  • Where do I park and is there a cost?

    Orangevale Park
7145 Filbert Ave, Orangevale, CA 95662
    Parking is free!

Orangevale Park is located in Orangevale (believe it or not), just down the road from Casa Roble High School. Parking lots are small around this park, but there are a number of options:

    1. Green Oaks Elementary parking lot.
    2. Lot on Filbert Ave near Oak Ave Pkwy.
    3. Dirt lot on Oak Ave Pkwy near Filbert Ave.
    4. Casa Roble High parking lot.

Please be respectful of neighbors and park only in parking lots.

  • What is there to eat?

Indulge in delicious fresh poke and Hawaiian-inspired dishes from the Island Fin Poke Co Food Truck.

Coffee cart will be added here if we’re able to book one!

  • Will there be beer?

Why yes… yes there will! Enjoy fresh, local, craft beer from Bike Dog Brewing. Beers are $5 and proceeds support Clipped In for Life.

  • What can families do?

Kids will love the big play structure and swing set off of Oak Avenue. There are a variety of short hiking paths for smaller children. There is also a small disc golf course.

  • Are there nearby accommodations?

Visit Folsom is the official hotel partner of Sacramento Cyclocross!

Folsom is the best and closest option for out-of-town travelers joining us at our double header race weekends at Orangevale Park (Orangevale) on October 10-11 and Lembi Park (Folsom) on November 14-15.

In addition to venue proximity, Folsom hotels are all conveniently located near bike trails, Lake Natoma, Folsom Lake, Historic Folsom, shopping, restaurants, and more.

Book your stay with ease through Visit Folsom’s one-stop shop.
