Venue FAQs

Below are answers to frequently asked questions about our race venue. For series-related FAQs (registration, race credits, categories, rules, etc.), please visit our main Sacramento Cyclocross FAQs page.

  • Where do I park and is there a cost?

Parking is free! Parking lots are small around this park, but there are a number of options (map below):

    1. Rusch Park parking lot on Auburn Blvd.
    2. Street parking on Oak Forest St. & Brook Dale Dr.
    3. Rusch Park west end parking lot on Rosswood Dr (access via Antelope Rd).
    4. Street parking on Antelope Rd, Lauppe Ln, Poplar Ave, and Amsterdam Ave.
    5. Very limited parking in Rusch Park lot on Antelope Rd next to Registration & Start/Finish.

Please be considerate of neighbors and do not block driveways. Do not park in the bowling alley parking lot on Auburn Blvd, or the Lutheran church lot on Rosswood Dr.

The Urbane Coffee cart will also be out at this race to fuel your caffeine addiction. –>

  • Will there be beer?

Why yes… yes there will! Enjoy fresh, local, craft beer from Bike Dog Brewing. Beers are $5 and proceeds support Clipped In for Life.

  • What else is there to do near the venue?

There are paved walking paths to enjoy throughout the park (watch for bikes – our course crosses paths in some places!). There’s a playground for the kids on the east end of the park, and a skate park on the Antelope Rd side.<!– We will be right on the lake, so bring the family to enjoy! Folsom Lake State Recreation Area with miles of hiking / mountain biking trails. Visit the State Parks website for more information. –>

If bowling is your jam, check out Steve Cook’s Fireside Lanes right next door to the park on Auburn Blvd!
