Registration & Pricing

SERIES REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Single race registration is $20 and includes your RFID chip-timed race. Registration opens on the Friday before each race and closes on the Monday before at 11:59pm. Limited time slots available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Prior to the first race, please download a liability waiver, sign and email to community@clippedinforlife.org by 12:00 PM on race day.

Series registration is $125 for all six races and includes:

• Getting to race in 2020
• RFID chip timing
• Wednesday Night Worlds tech t-shirt or racerback tank top
• 10% off coupon for the Clipped In Races online store
• Tasty schwag from Clif
• Bragging rights
• Probably some fun series awards

Because capacity is limited at the Deer Creek Hills Preserve, we are currently only offering registration for the full series. If there are time slots available for a specific date, we will open up registration on the Monday before that race (no on-site registration!).

To help us maintain social distancing and ensure we don’t overflow Deer Creek’s parking capacity, you’ll be required to select a time trial start time when registering. Start times are available in 15-minute increments (i.e. 4:30 PM, 5:00 PM, 5:15 PM, etc.) on a first-come, first-serve basis with a maximum of 15 slots for each time (in other words, one person per minute).

This series is made possible through an agreement with the Sacramento Valley Conservancy (SVC) for limited and special use of the Nature Preserve. A percentage of race fees will go back to support the land conservation work of SVC.

COVID-19 Refunds

In the case that a race cannot be held on the scheduled date due to COVID-19 restrictions, all races will be pushed back to the next possible Wednesday. The last date we will hold a race is Wednesday, October 28th.

If races are canceled due to COVID-19 and cannot be rescheduled, racers will have the option to donate their entry fee or receive a $20 refund per canceled race.

If you are sick and can’t make it to a race, STAY HOME and email us. We’ll transfer your registration, no extra fees, to another racer of your choice.

COVID-19 Mitigation

We won’t bore you with our full 10-page mitigation plan, but we do feel the need to share with you some of the important protocol we’ll be following for everyone’s safety:

• Individual time trial starts: Riders will register for a set start time, and be sent off in one-minute increments.
• Virtual spectating: We’ll have a live Facebook stream of race starts and finishes with commentary so your friends and family can watch safely from home. Please, no in-person spectators.
• “Masks Required” areas: Masks will be required in registration and other areas where social distance is difficult to maintain.
• Pre-riding: There will not be an opportunity to pre-ride the race course on Wednesdays. However, you can join the Sacramento Valley Conservancy on Monday evenings for a ride and preview of the probable course for that week.
• Post-race hangouts: Sorry folks, we know this one hurts. When you’re finished up with your Twilight Time Trial, please vacate the property so others can have an opportunity to race.
